This blog is a journal of some of my gardening projects. I'm interested in everything to do with gardening, particularly starting plants from seed. I enjoy combining annuals and perennials with vegi gardening. I like an informal, cottage style garden with lots of personality. I live in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Planting cucumbers in a square foot garden
These are four cucumber plants grown from seed. Hopefully they'll like climbing up the large tomato cage. I've added some stakes and wrapped remay cloth around the plants to protect them while they're getting established.
